Back from Scotland

Edinburgh has two faces (at least), a somber one with deep shadows and narrow closes, as the dark and hidden lanes are called here, but also the brightest and bluest sky and a golden evening light on the stone walls. I painted this water color abstract and called it "Evening Closes".
And there are the mossy stones on the cemetaries, sinking down and breaking. This water color painting is "Ancient Cemetaries" and also refers to the beautiful and multicolored stones you can find in Scotland.
No computer for 2 weeks! Almost no tv, just a little European champ football. My dizziness got better; I guess our brain was not constructed to see a lot of motion while the body is motionless. We walked a lot and took a 3-days trip to the Isle of Skye. Pictures will follow.
