I Owe You Views of Scotland

Loneliness in a vast country, shiny white houses on dark brown
or violet heather meadows -- I really love this landscape
At last I managed to compose a galery of our Scotland trip -- please click this line.
I rather show our trip to the Isle of Skye and through the Highlands because Edinburgh is already in another galery on my blog since 2011. Please read the explanation below the photos on this poster -- isn't that wonderful? This is where Monty Python took scenes of their "Holy Grail" movie.

Slight rain veiled the bridge over to the Isle, as we were approaching.
Just a few hours later: Portree in the evening sun, reminding me
of a mediterranian scene with the boats and pines and the sea blue as a gem.

I love this landscape too...wild, sometimes desolate and most beautiful. I have a friend who used to run her husbands castle (he is the Laird an inherited position) as a bed and breakfast, and I've always wanted to visit Findhorn and some of it's outlying island associated, independent communities.
More pictures please when you can.

Eva, the second photo even looks a bit Japanese!
I can feel your love for this land and its scape! Glad you had a fulfilling vacation! :-)
