Broken Stone Panels

Broken Stone Panels, watercolors on paper, 12x16.5". My method of painting is to add one layer after another, as watercolor requires; I use best quality watercolor, German and English origin. Digitally remastered in order to enhance the contrast; approaches the true colors. Here is some related wisdom about the content of the picture. Abstract, but mystical.

Eva, opening that post, in an instant, even before reading the title of the picture I was thinking of the big black basalt stones at the Golan Heights!
You see what you have done? You made me happy! :-)

Have you swapped your gouache for watercolour at the moment?
I love these natural elements you are painting with your own artistic flair.

Beautiful, organic.

Thank you, Judy! - Jacky, yes, but I'm ready to pick them up again when it matches. Just as my acrylics and oils are unemployed, but alive.

Always nice to change to some other material from time to time ...
There's lettering on the stones
Lóve the change in tone of that purple side ! And the aqua stripe ... it's all about your choise of colours ;-)
