Still cold, but at least we saw some sun! The birds say that winter isn't over yet. There has been a huge lot of rain recently, and it was dark as night. This lake, as a few others, was created as a reservoir to keep lower places protected from flooding. And it is a nice place for birds and those who love them.

Lovely! It's cold here too -- just above freezing -- but sunny. I could really use a walk.
