The Beginning of a New Era (is the end of the one before)

Something new is happening.

But let me start where it begins. This painting I finished on Friday is double the size I used to do. It is about themes I've been dealing with during the last months; it became programmatic, that's tiring and leading me astray.
In a dream the other night (rather morning) I had a galerist; she said "well you have a whole lot of older work", and I said, "no, I'm going for a new start."  Looks like I'm redefining watercolor for myself. In the close-ups you can see that I'm using a very small paint brush for a paper format of about 12x18". The title of the first painting in this style is "Three Erratic Boulders".
No idea where this is leading me to. Thank heavens I don't.
