Finished. The colours are taken from a limited scale, I sometimes put such rules on my work as "take what is in this bag" or "use as many colours as possible from Grandma Elizabeth's wool". The full range from my drawer is less inspiring to me than the limits.

This turned out beautifully. I find that sometimes putting limits on ourselves actually makes us stretch farther. Some of my most creative moments are when I DONT have a huge variety of elements to chose from.

I really like this piece. It has a Kaffe Fassett feel to it, a lot of the colors he uses.
The inspiration of limits is something I often think about. It's a delightful result in this case.
