Looks like I have to embroider at least one carnation pattern each year. This time I use sock wool again. It makes a nice dense pattern and has a pearly touch.

An annual series: re-carnation.
This is lovely. I almost bought a carnation for the garden yesterday.
I love the carnation in needlework....love it less so in real life (only because it is used so frequently). Rayna brought up an interesting point.
