Blueprint

I'm still auditing my stash for a carrier fabric. I have a red one and a green one, but fate decided this thing to be blue. Buying a fabric would break the rules. I'll work like I did in the case of the projects I did before, Jacob's colourful coat and the witch gown "witch" is now finished and still must be photographed in an outdoor situation. Susan had a good idea what way to take a photograph, I'm not telling.
My husband said the bear looks like run over by a truck.

Those husbands....they are too funny.
Great fabric and always interesting what you do with it.

Is that you getting younger and younger. What a charming childhood photo.

Well, I believe J. could have said alternatively that possibly the bear referenced Guernica - or, oh, thinking of the Assyrian mural with the wounded lion. It looks like a bear in some agony, it's very successful in conveying feeling and quite unsettling.

I have actually been considering breaking down and buying two different fabrics! I have been using only my fabric stash this entire time except for the small piece of velvet silk I bought to dye. Now I have ran out of white cotton and I want some gauze!
I agree the bear does look like he is in some agony, your husbands comment made me laugh!

Carrier fabric?? What do you mean by that? I love the whimsical look of this fabric, by the way.

haha... that's what happens if someone tries to express things in a foreign language. I mean backing fabric.
