Finished Embroidery

Made the last stitches today. Now it is ready for Etsy. It became more colourful than intended; I wanted to give it the look of an old Kelim, but it reminds of Mexican weaving instead.
What do you think: Should I have it finished as a pouch with a zip? Would it be more attractive for sale?

yes i think it looks more mexican because of the brightness of color. these might be interesting dipped in a diluted tan dye to age them a bit. like a tea dye effect.
i can never tell whether to make pieces into things or not. but this would be a lovely pouch....

I think it would make a great pouch. I lean towards making it into something, probably more likely to sell (in my opinion).

It is splendid - I imagine it will fade in time if it's a pouch.

I'm thinking a pouch, because it would have two sides - that sounds wierd, I just like the idea of being able to turn it over and have the colors change. You could probably charge more for it as a pouch...I mean more than the extra labor, women buy purses and earrings, always.

Gorgeous!

I think your piece either needs to be framed and matted or made into something functional like a small purse or pouch.

PS I like the vivid colors!

This one, too is beautiful. I think a pouch is a great idea....maybe just with a sturdy snap or velcro, not a zipper.
