For the collectors of cobblestones


An old cobblestone path in the outskirts of Hamburg which leads from the former farmhouse to the village. Since 1600, the farmhouse was used as a guest house for visitors to the Hamburg Government. Probably the cobblestones were put in place already then.

I love them to look at, even drive on... hate walking on cobblestones though! LOL! I'm interested in the way you are researching visual images and creating a bit of a 'backstory' for your quilt concept. That's very interesting to me because I do the same thing! (Or at least I have - I don't with everything)
